Governor of Karnataka honorable Bharadwaj H R, blessed the commencement of shooting for the film Mandahaasa in Bangalore on Tuesday. The film is produced by Basava Reddy, who produced Neene Neene starring Dhyan in lead. Movie launch ceremony was organized at Hotel Lalith Ashoka on the beautiful morning of tuesday. Bharadwaj blessing the occasion instructed film producers and directors to make good and moral films. He said to stop humiliating woman in films, as they are highly respected in India. Film Makers to should rise to the level of B R Chopra with making good films. He recalled the days, when entire people of Karnataka prayed for the safe release of Dr Rajkumar, when he was held hostage by Veerappan. He appreciated the name and fame Dr Raj achieved, even though he didn’t enter politics.
Kannada film producers Smt Parvatamma Rajkumar and S V Babu, and other eminent personalities of kannada film industry attended the movie launch function held at Hotel Lalith Ashoka.
Rakesh, Nikki and Chetan are playing in lead in the film Mandahaasa, which is produced by Basava Reddy under the banner Advik Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd. Santosh Rai Pathaje is handling the camera, while K M Veeresh is the executive producer. Also film journalist R V Vijayasarathy and Mithra are appearing is guest roles.
