Shishira - its a director's cinema

There is more and more good talks about Shishira, kannada movie directed by Manju Mandavya. Recently the film was screened to few film personalities during a premier in Bangalore. Response of all of them were the best. The results of the film team;s effort in making the movie was seen satisfactory, when they saw the facial expressions of the invited film artists, director and others associated to film industry. Every one was thrilled with the direction done by Manju Mandavya in his first directorial film itself. The film Shishira will be a remarkable movie ever made was the one shout of viewers who watched Shishira Premier.

The film is all about the question and belive when there is a god, there might be a devil. Prema, who decided not to come back to film industry after her marriage four years back, was very much impressed with the storyline, director Manju had narratted. She later on decided not to miss this film. When comes to Suspense thriller subject, Prema had acted in Marma, director SUnil Kumar Desai. She played the role of a Pshyco in that film. In Shishira Prema is playing a very important role. Yashas of Yuga Yugagale Sagali fame is playing the lead role. Infact he appears in entire frame of the story. When he struck up inside a haunted house, being scared and starving from hunger, what all consequences he faces whenever he tries to come out of the house is the storyline.

Manju Mandavya has worked under Nagathihalli Chandrashekar for his tele serials. With a no-idea about films, Manju started directing Shishira, which is his first film as director. But he has exceptionally shown a skill set, when seen the rushes on the screen. Producers make a important role over here, they have believed on Manju's talent and given him a oppurtunity to work on Shishira.

Recently the film crew addressed the media at a digital theater studio, where clippings of Shishira were screened. Prema, Yashas, director Manju Mandavya, Cameraman Suresh Babu, Art Director Prakash, Music Director Ajaneesh and producers of the film shared their views on Shishira, which is releasing later this month.

Prema, said its completely director's cinema. Director Manju's creativity, cinematographer Suresh Babu's camera work both have made the cinema come out very good. One of te best movie i'ever worked with.

Cinematographer Suresh Babu remembered the sleepless nights during the shoot.
