Deepika Calling Salman

Well….. not literally but the tall and beautiful Bollywood bala has a good taste. Obviously….. she once dated Ranbir so everybody knows the lass preferences and recently she expressed her desire to go out with Hollywood hottie Brad Pitt. But there are bad and good news, Brad and Angelina are a couple and they have rubbed all their split rumors…so Deepika will have second thoughts

But we hear that the girl has already given it a thought and she has expressed her desire to work with Bollywood hottie Salman. Smart lass, Hollywood nahin to Bollywood sahi.

The girl has been heard saying that she and Salman where suppose to be on film posters on a couple of times but things didn’t materialize accordingly.

The girl is now seriously waiting for the outcome of her forthcoming ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ which is scheduled to hit the screens this Friday.

The girl had already given a ‘miss call’ of sorts to the handsome Salman and it will be interesting to see whether Salman takes Deepika’s call (read desire to work) or not.

Salman pedals Mumbai Cyclothon

Muscle Man Salman Khan kick started Mumbai’s first cyclothon recently. Incidentally, the event is organized by his own NGO ‘Being Human’.

When asked why he was part of this cyclothon, Sallu bhai reportedly told the event is mainly to encourage cycling and to save fuel and the environment. Salman, his brother Sohail and others cycled across Bandra in Mumbai amidst waves, applause and noise from his fans.

Cyclists from around the world are part of the cyclothon. Associating himself with such events, Salman is definitely ‘Being Human’.

Salman to do some KICKing with Deepika

Director of Ghajini, AR Murugadoss is ready to make another Telugu remake Kick, this time kicking Salman Khan will be kicking for the director. The leading lady opposite Sallu will be leggy lass Deepika Padukone.

Sajid Naidadwala who is producing the flick says, “Murugadoss I’ve met and Deepika of course is already my leading lady in Houseful. I loved Murugadoss’s work in Ghajini and so did Salman. We were very clear about not getting the original Telugu director as I don’t believe in letting the South Indian directors do the Hindi remakes.”

“I don’t want Kick to look like Wanted 2. We’ll be shooting the action scenes in Tokyo.”

Hmmm..Salman with Deepika, wouldn’t there be a height problem?

Salman replied back , “Very soon.”

Salman Khan talks about his trust Being Human, his inspiration and his plan for the foundation.

Salman says, “My trust, the Being Human Foundation, is an inspiration from my parents. It works to help people who need aid. Currently, we have not asked for monetary help from anyone. I only take money from my close friends and family and meet all the other funding requirements on my own. I am in the process of setting up a website for the trust and the idea is to make money for charity from the website. We’ll be selling things like bracelets signed by me, my paintings, sketches, clothes I’ve worn in my films. We’ll put it all for sale and the proceeds will go towards the charity. It’s a good feeling to see a child smile soon after being close to not living. I have been blessed by God who has given me so much, I don’t just want to lend my face to a cause; I want to be there and support it in as many ways I can. I want to teach people that the biggest gift in the world you can give to anyone is to be human.”

Bye Bye Accent : Salman

Salman’s characteristic feature is his strange accent. He is always seen talking in a strange accent, which he flaunted to the fullest on his game show Dus Ka Dum.

However Salman is all set to say goodbye to his accent, for his upcoming flick Dabang, where he plays a North Indian cop.

Brother Sohail says, Salman plays a corrupt police officer based in the North who loves to mouth loud dialogues in northern accent. For the first time he will play a negative role. He has never played such a role before.”

Designer Ashley Rebello, will be designing Salman’s clothes for Dabang, she says,“Salman will sport an altogether different look in ‘Dabang’. He plays a cop but is dressed in civilian clothing most of the time. Salman is clad in simple clothes throughout the film. Trousers, shirts and no much of body or bicep show from the superstar. He won’t look fashionable as he always does. It’s nowhere close to ‘Wanted’ or even ‘Garv’. Arbaaz, on the contrary, will sportIndian kurtas, while Sonakshi Sinha will wear Indian saris, ghagra- cholis and a lot of Indian outfits.”

The flick also stars Arbaaz Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Shatrugan Sinha.

Salman Khan has found a new way to promote his dream flick Veer,by blogging exclusively about it.

Salman Khan on his Veer blog writes, I am very excited about the release of Veer on January 22, 2010. I have lived with Veer for 20 years and want you guys to live the movie with me through this blog. Veer can be called my most awaited film till date. I had written the story of my dream project when I was shooting for the film Baaghi in 1990.”

The story of Veer has been written by Salman himself, and is amongst the costliest films to be made in Bollywood.

Daddy's girl slaps Salman!

Salman Khan, who people dare not offend verbally, has been slapped in front of the who-n-who of the tinsel world. And surprisingly he did not say a word in reply.

Salman was at a club attending a party thrown by friend fashion-designer Sanjana Jon celebrating the success of her fashion show while the incident happened. A source at the party reported,

Talking about the incidence a source said, “The party went on till the wee hours of morning. A sloshed Monika accompanied by a male friend first tried to forcefully enter the party venue. She was too loud and completely out of control because of her intoxicated state. Sohail Khan, who was standing close to the entrance, saw the hungama and asked the security guards not to let Monika in.”

“Meanwhile, Salman heard the commotion and walked to where Monika was making a fuss. She was misbehaving and started bragging about her connections and abused Sushmita Sen. When Salman very politely asked the girl to leave, she suddenly slapped the actor,” adds the source.

As crowd started to gather by the door the girl was dragged out, “Surprisingly, Salman did not retaliate even once. He kept his cool and went inside with Sohail after the girl was taken away,” says the source.

Looks like Prabhu Deva has got himself drenched in troubles for recommending his close friend Nayantara in all his upcoming films . If what we heard from sources is believed to be true, then Salman Khan and Jeyam Ravi have strongly refused to pair up with Nayantara in the films Prabhu Deva is supposed to direct them.

Followed by grand success of Wanted, Salman Khan has shown keen interest in working with Prabhu Deva in another film titled Most Wanted. As well, Kalapathi S Agoram of AGS Entertainment has been discussing scripts with Prabhu Deva for a film featuring Jeyam Ravi in lead roles.

Now the latest buzz is that both the actors have strongly expressed their dislike about sharing screen space with Nayantara. As well, Jeyam Ravi seems to have requested that he’s ready to pair up with any actresses except Nayantara. Dashed down with his hopes, Prabhu Deva is very much perplexed about the situation as Ravi came up with a open statement that he has got more offers after the success of Peranmai and he needn’t depend on Prabhu Deva. Asin & Salman attend "London Dreams" Premiere

Bollywood Super star Salman Khan & Asin were recently spotted at the premiere of London Dreams in Dubai. The was held at The Grand Cineplex & premiere was hosted by Star Middle East.

Asin was looking stunning in a green Falguni and Shane Peacock gown. Asin made all the ladies go green with envy in Dubai when she walked arm in arm with Salman Khan on the red carpet of London Dream’s Premiere in Dubai. Salman looked debonair in a semi formal attire.





Well there was a recent buzz that all is not well between Salman and Asin. It all started when actor Salman completely ignored his co-star at a video conference which was meant for promoting their London Dreams flick . Salman didn’t even acknowledge Asin’s presence and left without speaking a word to her.

It is said that Salman had a cold on the day when the joint interview took place. In spite of his ill health, he used to attend the venue where the promotional event was supposed to take place. Assuming that the joint interview would take place then and there, Asin sat beside him. But sadly, he ignored her completely. And now at the Dubai premiere of their film London Dreams, we saw the two holding hands and smiling up towards each others faces.
