Lakshmi Rai in new controversy with her personal trainer Prashanth

The hot south indian actress Lakshmi Rai is popular in Malayalam , Telugu and tamil. She is getting into controversies one after another. Rumors of her liaison with the Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni has not died down as yet, but Lakshmi Rai is caught in another controversy, this time her name being linked with her personal trainer Prashanth. However, she promptly refused the claims of tabloids about this and clarified the air in this regard in a press note.

She hired Prashanth recently since she had to shed weight for her forthcoming Hindi movie. According to her, she needed Prashanth to be put up in the hotel where she was accommodated due to her erratic work hours. “I needed to work out from 5 – 7 a.m. in the morning to be able to get ready for the shoots,” she said in the communication. She also requested the media to refrain from writing about Prashanth since his wedding is fixed with another girl and this would spoil his reputation among his family circles.

Om Puri's wife reveals his sex secrets

Om Puri’s wife Nandita has revealed some of his dark sexual secrets in his biography, “Unlikely Hero: The Story of Om Puri”, that she has written.

Om is obviously very upset as these scandalous revelations are likely to tarnish his respectable image.

He is feeling betrayed as his journalist wife has chosen to tell all that he shared with her about his past.

Om Puri, who is currently in Chandigarh, said Nandita has used cheap marketing tactic to promote the book and that he will not spare her even though she is his wife.

Among other things, Nandita has written about his Om’s sexual encounters with two maids.

Apparently, he had sex with his maid Shanti when he was just 14 years old.

Nandita also goes on to detail Om’s relationship about another woman named Laxmi, with whom he was sexually and emotionally involved for a long time.

But Om says that he has tremendous respect for Laxmi. She was the person who took care of him and his brother’s orphaned children. However, he does agree that he had sex with her.

But Om does not like that all these things have put in the open. He wishes his wife had focused more on his rags-to-riches rise and achievements as an actor, which is what he thought the book was about.

Coming from a very poor background, he wanted his story and the book to be inspirational, instead it’s turned out to be damaging.

Madhur Bhandarkar to face trail in Priti Jain rape case

Bolywood director Madhur Bhandarkar of Chandini bar and Fashion fame is facing tough time with the allegations on him. In July 2004, model-turned-actress Priti Jain had filed a FIR claiming that Madhur Bhandarkar had raped her a number of occasions between 1999 & 2004 beneath the excuse of getting married with her & launching her as heroine in his films.

After 5 years the Mumbai court on Wednesday has declared that the FIR filed on director is genuine and ordered the police for further investigation. The Magistrate has ordered Madhur Bhandarkar to present before Acharya court on December 22nd.

The next hearing is slated for Dec 22. Priti Jain's statement will be recorded on that day. She will also be submitting details of threatening SMSes sent to her by Madhur Bhandarkar, and some other evidences.

The aspiring actress had in her complaint to the police in 2004 alleged that Bhandarkar and she had sex 16 times between 1999 and 2004. Priti also claimed that Bhandarkar had promised to marry her and make her a star.

"Madhur had promised to give me a lead role in his films. However, he didn't offer me a lead role in any of his movies. At times when I refused, he raped me," she alleged in her complaint.

Katrina-Ranbir ramp walk landed in controversy

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp in Delhi for designer Rohit Bal at the conclusion of the Couture Week in Delhi finishing it on style in a grand finale, Final Day WIFW 2009, New Delhi. This is also the first time that Ranbir and Katrina walked the ramp together. This show also gave Ranbir and Katrina a chance to promote their film, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

According to the sources, there was a small clash between bollywood heroes at the show. Arjun Rampal requested katrina to walk with him on the ramp. But, Katrina rejected that by saying she was there to promote her upcoming film with Ranbir. With this Arjun Rampal walked out of the fashion show. There was also a discussion on who would be show stoppers. Though Arjun and Dino Maria desired to be the show stoppers, but finally Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were the show stoppers.

Katrina Kaif was nervous earlier about her ramp walk with Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir advised Katrina not to get distracted with the incident and concentrate on the film promotion. Though it was done with the promotion of the movie in mind, it was a good attempt by both as they looked royal.

Women organizations support Prabhudeva wife

Women organizations came in support of Prabhudeva's wife Ramlath heading to the request to save her marriage life from the clutches of actress Nayantara. Jhansi Rani Women's Protective Association has come to resque Ramlath.

"As a reputed actress, it's not good on part of Nayantara to break a marriage. Artistes like her have to set an example as every act is followed by crores of people. It could send wrong signals to the society. We will resort strong agitations against her and not allow any of her movies for screening," said Kalpana, the head of women's association.

Nayantara's reply to Ralmath's allegations

"Ralmath has no business to abuse or criticise me," said Nayantara, reacting to the charge of Prabhu Deva's wife to a leading morning vernacular.

A report in an evening paper carries Nayantara's reply. It says:

"It is easier for Ralmath to check the facts with Prabhu Deva instead of taking this circuitous route. I have apprised the media about this issue many times. My biggest strength is the support of my family. I am not bothered of the opinion of others on my personal matters. As of now, I am focused on my career with a lot of pending projects to be completed.”

Nayantara is in now Kerala taking a break from her shooting schedules.

Sneha in fresh trouble

A Trichy-based woman said on Friday that she would file a defamation suit against Sneha for "humiliating" her husband by accusing him of molesting her.

Sneha was in Trichy to participate in the first anniversary celebrations of a jewellery outlet. A huge crowd thronged the outlet to have a glimpse of the actress.

Caught among her fans, Sneha suddenly screamed that someone had pinched her. When her security guards rushed to her help, she reportedly told them that the miscreant was wearing a blue shirt.

Following this, the guards found one Suresh Kumar, a realtor, who was wearing a blue shirt and allegedly assaulted him. They later handed him over to the police. A case was registered and the man later came out on bail.

Suresh's wife Sharmila has come to the rescue of her husband and said that she was along with him when the incident took place and claimed that Suresh never went close to the actress.
Speaking to reporters, Sharmila said she would file a defamation suit against the actress.

Heroine in fresh controversy

The ravishing beauty Ramya of Surya S/o Krishnan fame is quite busy these days with many offers from Tamil and Kannada movies. The actress is known for her loose tongue. Earlier she was warned by the media persons to keep her tongue in control for the comments she made on journalists.

Ramya landed in a new controversy. While shooting for a Kannada movie she yelled at the dancers calling them as unfit fellows. The irritated dance master complained to Dancers association who took this seriously and made her apologise.

Save my husband from Nayantara: Ramlath

The media continues to harp upon the Nayanthara-Prabhu Deva romantic link-up. Reportedly, Nayantara came to Mumbai just to watch the premiere of Wanted (Hindi) with Prabhu Deva. "No comments" was the only comment from the duo when the media converged on them.

Prabhu Deva's wife Ramlath has opened her heart to a leading vernacular daily with a tearful message that she is already distressed by the death of her 12-year-old son Vishal due to cancer six months ago.

In her hard-hitting message, Ramalath said she would never allow her husband to marry another girl. “A husband is punished for a second marriage when his first wife is alive. I feel the second wife should be arrested when she tries to snatch a man who is already married.”

Admitting that she did pick a fight with Nayantara once over phone, Ramlath said she will give Nayantara a sound thrashing if they meet.

Expressing her anger at a leading actor who, in the garb of playing a mediator's role, is only helping the love to blossom, Ramlath said that the said actor should put his house in order first – clearly referring to his divorce case, now in the High Court.

“If Nayantara could throw Simbu out after being on the verge of marrying him, what is the guarantee that the same fate would not befall my simpleton husband,” says this mother of three.

In a pleading note, Ramlath has requested elders to intervene to solve this unsavoury episode which has rocked Kollywood.

Couple of days ago, Actress Sneha went to Thiruvannamalai temple. Agitation came out when she was wearing slippers when she went around the temple. Makkal Party showed their anger and against her act. Sneha responded that she was wearing slippers on that day, that’s true. She told two years ago, she met with an accident and her broke her leg. She can’t able to walk well without any slippers.
