Following the footsteps of her lovable spouse, Krithika Udhayanidhi finally forays into tinsel town of wielding megaphone. Krithika, wife of Udhayanidhi Stalin has been actively involved in filmmaking tactics.So, here’s she making her debut directorial with Prasanna in lead role. The film will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin himself under the banner name of Red Giant Movies.Nothing has been let out regarding other star-casts and crewmembers. Likely, the official announcements about the project would be made soon.Krithika has been the chief editor and proprietor of Chennai based lifestyle magazine INBOX 1305.

Vikram to join hands with 'Magadheera' Director

Vikram is now busily working on Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’ and if sources are to be believed he will be up and running for a fresh one soon.

Following ‘Raavana’ Vikram will work for two projects simultaneously. As said by us earlier, his project with Vikram K Kumar of ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ fame will go on floors soon. On the other hand another project with Selvaraghavan where PC Sreeram is signed as a cameraman will also roll concomitantly.

Now the latest murmur from the actor’s place is that he will be doing a bilingual project with ‘Magadheera’ Director Raja Mouli. Sources had it that the actor and director met and discussed about the movie. It’s believed that this untitled flick will start rolling by the end of this Feb or March first week. Know who had arranged for this meeting? It’s Kanthaswamy’s music director Devi Sri Prasad.

Popular pair Aarthi and Ganesh to get married

Both Aarthi and Ganesh are the popular pairs in the small screen as well as big screens. They have started acting right from the young age.

Their super ten programme was one among the best. After this they continue to act in many shows and programmes. Now they have decided to join in their marriage also. The marriage is to take place with the blessings of the elderly on 10th of next month atGuruvayur Temple.
The reception is to be held at Hotel Accord in T Nagar, Chennai on 25th. Members of the film fraternity are likely to grace the occasion in large numbers. Aarthi while speaking about her marriage said,” Many of the people are thinking that we AR are in love. But the fact is that we both are acting in lot of films.

In the same way we have participated in lot of programmes together. During our younger days we had acted in the film titled En Thangai Kalayani. But till last three months I did not feel any thing. My elder sister’s marriage took place some 9 months ago. After this I started thinking about my marriage.

My life centres around cinema, so I felt it would be better if a person belonging to cinema will be more understanding and suitable for me. I wanted a person who would respect my parents, have passion for cinema, good sense of humor, God fearing and above all a good person.I found all these traits in Ganesh. So I chose him and told him about this recently. He was also in search of a good life partner like me after the demise of his mother and grandmother.”

Actress Monika wants to pair with Kamal

Monika had been to Salem recently to attend a function. While speaking to the media she said,’The popular novel Agarathi written by the famous novelist Rajesh Kumar is now being adapted into a film. I am acting in this film. Apart from this I am also acting In Varnam and Maan Vettai. I will also be acting in two Kannada films.I was not able to see the recently released Kamal starrer Unnai Pol Oruvan because of continuous shootings. I will see this film at the earliest. I am his great fan. I have acted with him in Sathi Leelavathi. I want to pair with him.”

Kangana Rauth wants to direct

Kangana Rauth who was introduced in the Tamil film is now being introduced in a Telugu film.

Kangana who had acted in Tamil film Dhaam Dhoom is now pairing with Prabhas in a Telugu film to be directed by Puri Jaganath. While speaking about this to the media, she said,” I am not of the opinion that one should not act in other languages since you are acting in Hindi films.I had acted in Late Jeeva’s film Dhaam Dhoom and Puri Jaganath’s film. Since I am selecting good stories and strong characters many are asking me whether I have the knowledge of direction. I don’t know much about direction but I will direct a film some day. That is my dream.;

Vijay And His Son Sanjay Promote ‘Vettaikaran’

The Diwali release ‘Vettaikaran’ is the talk of the town and ever since musical score by Vijay Antony was released, the rocking album immediately grabbed the attention of the cinema goers.

A special treat awaits Vijay’s fans as the ‘llayathalapathy of Ilayathalapathy’, his son Sanjay has danced alongside his dad for the opening song ‘Naa Adicha’ crooned by Shankar Mahadevan. Betting on the peppy combination, the makers decided to promote the movie with the stills of the father and son together.

Stills shot during the shoot of the song featuring Vijay and his son Sanjay will be in all hoardings of ‘Vettaikaran’. The crew preens Sanjay was no different from his dad and was a challenging competent when it came to pulling off the right dance moves.

Women organizations support Prabhudeva wife

Women organizations came in support of Prabhudeva's wife Ramlath heading to the request to save her marriage life from the clutches of actress Nayantara. Jhansi Rani Women's Protective Association has come to resque Ramlath.

"As a reputed actress, it's not good on part of Nayantara to break a marriage. Artistes like her have to set an example as every act is followed by crores of people. It could send wrong signals to the society. We will resort strong agitations against her and not allow any of her movies for screening," said Kalpana, the head of women's association.

Lingu Swamy to direct Ram Charan

Ram Charan, who is riding high with the success of Magadheera is getting ready for his next venture Orange. Genelia has been casted to play the main female lead of the film. Bommarillu Bhaskar directs the film and produced by Naga Babu on Anjana Creation banner.

According to the sources, Lingu Swamy of Pandem Kodi fame would be directing Ram Charan's fourth film. This will be remake of Tamil film Paiyya. It is said that Ram Charan got impressed with the story narrated by the director and immediately given his nod to do the film.The film would be produced by RB Chowdary on Mega Super Good films banner.

Silambarasan’s next film produce by Lingusamy

Director Lingusamy is all set to produce Silambarasan’s next untitled film to be directed by Boopathy Pandian. Lingusamy is busy working on the last leg of his ‘Paiyya’ produced and directed by him under the banner of ‘Tirupathi Brothers’.At the moment, Simbhu is busy working on scripts for his upcoming projects since Gowtham Menon has stalled the shooting of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ as he started off with the Telugu remake.Nothing has been officially announced from any ends about Lingusamy, Silambarasan and Boopathy Pandian coming together. It’s worth mentioning that Boopathy Pandian has delivered commendable comedy entertainers with Dhanush and Vishal. Incisively, Simbhu can lay his heartiest confidence with the filmmaker.

Villain Turns Hero

Ajaykumar, the villain in Malaikottai and Kireedam is now turning hero with Vetattam directed by DS Kannan. The actor is looking forward to this film having done more than 45 films as villain in Telugu.“Kannan chose me for this role since he wanted a new face with no hero image. He wanted someone with shades of grey for the role. It’s a rustic setting,” says Ajaykumar. The tall and good looking actor has no qualms about acting as villain in future Tamil films even though he has turned hero with this one. “I never wanted to be a hero. I will do whatever roles come my way,” he says.Lets see if he follows the same path to fame as villain turned heros like Sathyaraj and Rajni before him with the success of this film!
