Ajith, Vijay together after a long time!
Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar and Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay met each other recently- This is the talk of the industry now!
When all were thinking whether this meeting was a planned or accidental, technicians who were present during the meet up had something pleasant to share!
The shoot of Ajith’s ‘Asal’ was going on in AVM studio and at the same time the patch work of Vijay’s ‘Vettaikkaran’ was happening. Will it be fair if the stars don’t greet each other in spite of the fact that they are in the same building? Hmmm… when Ajith arrived to the studio, he came to know that Vijay was there in the studio too. Our Thala had made the move to greet his colleague and had given a pleasant surprise by visiting him in Vijay’s make-up room.
It’s been three long years since the stars have met each other and so had lots to talk.
When both the stars were talking Vijay’s makeup man and few other technicians interrupted their chat and expressed their wish to take a snap with Ajith. Without hesitating, Thala posed with them and Vijay was happily enjoying the excitement on his technicians’ faces.
After the photo session both the stars continued their private chat, added the sources.
Do we call it professionalism or friendship? Either ways that was healthy, we say!

‘Sura’ Vijay does a Mohanlal?

Ilaya Thalapathy’s ‘Sura’ is a giant that attracted a lot of limelight even before its launch. There were a lot of stories about this Vijay starrer’s baddie and its title politics. Now a new buzz has started to make rounds!
Sources say that the storyline of the film has leaked. It’s heard that ‘Sura’ will be a replica of the Malayalam movie ‘Chotta Mumbai’, director by Anwar Rasheed. Rajkumar had altered the character of the lead role in Vijay’s style. Close circle from Sura’s campus tell that this is a known news to S.A.Chandrasekar.
‘Chotta Mumbai’ is a story set in the Fort Kochi-Mattancherry area and about a few happy go-lucky guys from the Chotta Mumbai Street who are into anything for making money. Mohanlal made another realistic and sincere performance with great comic timing on screen through this one.
Now we have to wait for ‘Sura’ to come into the market to know its value...

Music Review- Vettaikaran
Banner: AVM Productions, Sun Pictures.
Producer: M. Balasubramaniam , B. Gurunath Meiyappan
Starring: Vijay, Anushka Shetty, Salim Ghouse, Sri Hari, Sri Nath.
Director: Babu Sivan. Music Director: Vijay Anthony.
Actor Vijay – Vijay Antony: the duo combo coming together had raised everyone hopes for their specific mantra of stunning music and dance. Perhaps, the songs of ‘Vettaikaran’ don’t exceed your expectations. The musical album has a mix of some good and well as lacks impressiveness in few.
Tcln brings you the exclusive music review of Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’…
1. Puli UrumudhuVocal: Ananthu, Mahesh Vinayagam Lyrics: Kabilan
A ‘perfect picture’ for all Vijay buffs and indeed it’s an indirect political propaganda that the actor had looked out for. Precisely, nothing seems to be impressive on both instrumentations and vocalisms. It’s more or else tuned in the same theme of ‘Singam Ondru Purapattadhe’ from Rajnikanth starrer ‘Arunachalam’.
2. Chinna ThamaraiVocal: Krish, SuchitraLyrics: Vivega
Sounds interesting on rap lines and fill-ins. But again, the playback singers don’t fill the space. The sensuously erotic song has the right appeal over lyrics penned by Vivega. ‘Chinna Thamarai’ has yet another version in the later part of album.
3. Naan Adichaa…Vocal: Shankar MahadevanLyrics: Kabilan
A fast-beat title song well-tailored for Vijay and it is sure to become a sensational hit amongst his fans. Amongst the other tracks, this one happens to be a perfect score by Vijay Antony. For sure, it would throw extreme excitements with Vijay’s spellbinding dance.
4. KarigaalanVocal: Surchth, Sangeetha RajeshwaranLyrics: Kabilan
In simple terms, the song isn’t a recommended number and naturally, if you wouldn’t feel adhered to the tunes. Per chance, scenarios could be different after the film’s release.
6. UcchimandaVocal: Krishna Iyer, Shoba Shekar, Charulathamani, Shakthi ShreeLyrics: Annamalai
Apart from the fast-running notes and rhythms on acoustic and electric guitars, there is nothing for special mention here. Vijay’s mother Shobha Shekar has crooned the song and she does her part well.Final verdict ‘Naan Adithcha’ is a peppy commendable number while ‘Chinna Thamira’ maybe a slow pick up. But we aren’t sure about rest of the songs and maybe with vigorous promotions of Sun Pictures, paradigms maybe shifted… But on whole, it’s a big disappointment from Vijay Antony who spelled mind-boggling tunes in his previous albums.

Vijay will soon bring out a satellite channel, for which he has recently obtained the license. It is said that the license is in his father S A Chandrasekar’s name.
Another Vijay-named actor also has the same plan. Captain Vijayakanth is gearing up to bring a channel under his name, with the support of his DMDK party. It seems that the actor-politician is now busy short listing candidates to be a part of this channel.
Another to join the channel war is the popular local daily ‘Dhinathanthi’. The newspaper launched its own satellite channel yesterday.
After watching the two Vijays on big screens, people will soon surf them hereafter.
