She got married to Vidhyasagar who was a soft ware engineer in Bangalore on July 12th at Tirupathi. She said that after her marriage she would be living with her mother in Chennai. As per statement she stayed with her mother for a long time and short time in Bangalore with her husband.
She stopped acting in films because her husband had objected to act. But all of a sudden she had started to act. She has been signed for a Malayalam film titled Thambi Kottai. Narain and Poonam Bajwa are in the lead roles and Meena is donning the role of Narain’s sister in this film.
Ammu Ramesh is directing this film. Malayalam dailies have been publishing sensational news about Meena sudden invasion into film world despite her husband’s objections. Producers and directors are also asking Meena to do sister and sister in law roles in Tamil films.
