Finally, Sundar C has decided to remake the yesteryear super hit Murattukaalai. Rajinikanth's “Murattu Kalai” of 1980’s is a good entertainer which was produced by AVM now the new version will be produced by Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi’s grandson Gunanidhi
This remake movie is directed by Selva Bharathy and planning a release for April 14 2009. Other cast are Sneha, Sivaji fame Suman, Vivek etc.,
