On this particular occasion, filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss said, “Earlier, we had our Kamal Haasan stating that Sivaji Ganeshan who endowed Tamil Cinema with greatness wasn’t honored during his life time. Picking this cue at this point, I would request South Indian Actors’ Association headed by Sarath Kumar to rename Eldams Road of Chennai as ‘Dr. Kamal Haasan Road…”
As Murugadoss made this request to Sarath Kumar, he has planned to schedule a meeting with his body members of association to honor Kamal Haasan for completing Golden Jubilee in film industry.
