Chief Minister K Rosaiah mourned the death of actor Padmanabham, saying that the industry has lost "a best comedian" in his demise. He said that the death of the comedian, who belonged to the first generation Telugu cinema was sad.
"In the death of Padmanabham, the Telugu industry has lost an outstanding comedian of the first generation." He also offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the veteran.
Rosaiah also said that Padmanabham had doled out excellent comedy for six decades, besides making some films as a director and producer.
Movie Artistes Association too mourned his death. Its representatives like Murali Mohan, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Sivaji said that the loss was great for the industry.
They offered their condolences to the family.
