T-Series, one of the leading production houses in Indian Film Industry has been strictly implementing the copyrights of its contents, Merely, they allow their clients to use the promotional or whatever materials provided by them by paying license payment. But Sun Network and Telugu based News Channel NTV has been continuously using their contents illegally for a long time. Even after bringing this in to their notice, they’ve been gradually denying it across the airs and finally T-Series has filed a case against both the TV Channels ….
Divya Khosla Kumar, Creative Director, T Series says, “We have always been a serious player in this industry and to make music work among the masses, it is important that it makes money for the music companies who invest so much on songs and song picturisations. At T-Series, it is always a no-expense spared effort. Hence, we come down strongly on pirates and those violating the copyright laws. The current matter is subjudice and hence we would not be able to comment on it.”
