The changing phase of K-Town is perpetually topping out on all aspects. Be it unique style of filmmaking or technical panoramas: the filmmakers are brimmed with extraordinary prospects. Post-success of ‘Subramaniapuram’, ‘Vennila Kabadi Kulu’ and more off that sort, here comes yet another flick.
Titled as ‘Renigunta’, the film boasts about the lives of youngsters whose lives are tormented due to insufficient support in their childhood. ‘Youngsters and Violence’ – it really seems to be a controversial issue, isn’t? Ask Director Panneerselvam as he says, “Renigunta has series of my encounters with the real life incidents. Today, we widely witness that most of the crimes are committed by youngsters around 20. It’s hard to accept… Reality really bites.”
The film is about group of youngsters who unleash themselves from confinement of Madurai Prison and get into a train moving towards Mumbai. Rest of the film gets on with these guys getting down at ‘Renigunta’ station and proceeds on with their confrontations… Moreover, the film’s climax will be so shocking unforeseen ever in Tamil Cinema.
