Jayapradha is donning the role of Dhanush’s mother-in-law in the remake film Mappillai. Mappillai is a film which had Rajnikanth and Amala in the lead role.
Sri Vidhya did the role of Rajni’s mother-in-law. This role was an important one. This super hit film is now being remade. Dhanush and Hansika Motwani are in the lead roles.
Talks were going on with Tabu, Sree Devi and Jayapradha with regard to mother-in-law role and now Jayapradha has been selected to do the role.
