The audio launch of Genelia's upcoming film Katha was held on Monday at State Art Gallery, Kaveru Hills, Hyderabad. Ace director SS Rajamouli took up the job of anchoring this event. A contest of narrating a story(Katha) was being held at this event. Dialogue writer Rajasimha, Jr.NTR, Prakash Raj and S Balachandra stood as the winners of this contest.
K. Raghavendra Rao, Rajamouli, Krishna Vamsi, Jr.NTR, Prakash Raj, Genelia, KL Narayana, Suresh Babu, Tammareddy Bharadwawja, Gunnam Gangaraju, MM Keeravani, Rama Rajamouli and Arun Adhith were some of the film personalities who graced the occasion.
The shooting of film Katha has been wrapped up recently. Genelia is the heroine in this film. Arun Kumar,a debutant, who is doing the lead role in the Tamil version of Happy Days is playing male lead opposite Genelia. Srinivas Raga is the director and Gunnam Gangaraju is producing this film Just Yellow's banner. Music of the film is by SK Balachandran and cinematography by Andrew. Versatile actor Prakash Raj is playing a crucial role in the film.
Katha is basically a romantic entertainer but has elements of a thriller. Genelia plays the role of a teacher in the film.
