The film will have five characters playing five important roles and they supposedly denote the 'panchabhootalu'. According to sources,Allu Arjun is symbolic of earth, Anushka represents fire, Manoj personifies air and Manoj Bajpai is representative of water.
Though the director intends to shoot the film at a stretch in single schedule, the earlier commitment of the lead actors making it difficult for him. As, Allu Arjun is currently busy working for two more projects(Arya 2, Gunasekhar's film) other then Vedham, Anushka is shooting for Mahesh starrer Varudu.This film is Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad under Arka Media banner. Music is by M M Keeravani and Cinematographer by Jnanashekar.
