Mamta Mohandoss who debuted in Kollywood with Vishal's 'Silapathikaram' shifted her base to Tollywood following a long-wait for new offers in Tamil filmdom. Recently, the actress made a re-entry of sorts with 'Guru En Aalu' with Madhavan. The film which was in the production for a long time bite the dust at the box-office. But, Mamta's dream of a second innings in Kollywood has come true.
The tall and petite actress has been roped in to pair opposite Ultimate Star Ajith in 'Asal'. The film directed by Charan and produced by Sivaji Productions was launched with much fanfare and has raised huge expectations. The two heroine subject already has Sameera Reddy in the lead role and Mamta will join the cast.
Having cast opposite the Ultimate Star, Mamta is now eyeing other biggies in the Kollywood like Vijay and Surya.
