Ready To Remake in Tamil With Dhanush As Lead

Superhit Telugu film 'Ready', starring Ram and Genelia D'Souza in the lead and directed by Cheenu Vaitla, is to be made in Tamil starring Dhanush in the lead. Dhanush, who is already starring in the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit film 'Aarya' which is being made as 'Kutty', is all set to do his second consecutive remake film.

Incidentally, the Tamil version of 'Ready' will be directed by Mitran Jawahar, who debuted as director in 2007 with the Dhanush-Nayantara starrer 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini', which was also a remake of theTelugu film 'Aadavari Maatalukku Arthalae Vaeru'. Mitran would again be directing Dhanush in 'Ready', which would be produced jointly by the duo of Mohan Apparao and Ramesh Thandara on behalf of Balaji Studios Pvt. Ltd.

'Ready' is also being remade in Kannada as well, with Punith Rajkumar (who else?) and Priyamani in the lead. Talks are on with frontline actresses to pair up opposite Dhanush in the Tamil version, sources point out. It appears that Dhanush might have another winner in his hands!

Director Jawahar speaks about ‘Kutty’

‘Kutty’ was earlier supposed to be named as ‘Karthir’ and Jawahar explains about the change of title as he says, “Since, everyone in the film calls the protagonist by nickname ‘Kutty’.

”Devi Sri Prasad’s musical score in Telugu version ‘Aarya’ was a big chartbuster and the final song ‘Aa Ante’ has been exactly retuned to the tastes of Tamil audiences.
The film’s shooting is almost completed and will hit the screens in December with the vivid publicity and grand release by Sun Pictures…

Sun Pictures - First Ninaithale Inikkum, Kutty later

Sun Pictures is getting through the splendiferous journey of promoting ‘commercial flicks with best budgets’. It was more illustrious with ‘Kadhalil Vizhundhen’, ‘Thee’, ‘Dindukal Saarathi’, ‘Maasilamani’ and others. Now, the production network is all set to release ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ and Dhanush starrer ‘Kutty’.

According to the latest reports, it has been confirmed that Sun Pictures will first release ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ directed by debutant Kumaravel. The film features Prithviraj, Priyamani, Sakthi and Karthik Kumar in lead roles with Vijay Antony scoring music. With the songs already making high on airs, it has gradually increased everyone’s expectations on the film.

Once, this film crosses certain days with good collections, Sun Pictures will decide the release date of ‘Kutty’…
