Eeram has been highly appreciated by the family audiences. Recently, we hear that superstar Rajinikanth had a special screening of the film in which the entire unit and producer Shankar were present. Rajini said he liked the film a lot and that it would attract women audiences like films like Chandramukhi and Arundathi had done. Aathi, the film’s hero, has become hot in the market and there is a big buzz surrounding his next film Ayyanar. Also, a television channel has snapped the rights of Eeram at a whopping price, the single biggest deal for a small film in recent times.

Sindhu Menon speaks to the media

Eeram is a film produced by Director Shankar which has been released recently. The film is doing well at the box office. Aadhi and Nanda are the two heroes in this film.
Sindhu Menon who had acted as Manoj’s sister in Bharathi Raja’s Kadal Pookal has done the female lead role in this film. Now she is in cloud nine because of the success of Eeram.
While speaking to the media recently, she said,” Every heroine will have the expectation that she should have a good hero, production house and director. I have got this through the film Eeram. This film has given me a good re-entry in Kollywood.

Director Arivazhagan and Cinematographer Kannan taught me how to act in each scene of this film. Acting in this film was a new experience for me. Friends who saw this film had appreciated me. The film Rahasiya Police in which I had acted in Malayalam language is doing well at the box office.

I have paired with Jayaram in this film which has been directed by Madhu. Currently I am acting in a Telugu film titled Subadra. New face Kesavan is doing the lead role in this film. My role is a meaty one and has lot of scope for acting in this film. Prema Pilusthondi is another a film in which I am acting in Telugu language. Chandy is the hero of this film and directed by Ajay. I am donning the role of a college student.”

Sindhu Menon (born on June 17, 1984) is an Indian actress, who has mainly appeared in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil films.

She debuted as a child artist in the 1994 Kannada film Rashmi. Sindhu Menon, a trained Bharatanatyam dancer from her childhood, got her entry into the film industry, when Bhasker Hegde, one of the judges of a Bharatanatyam competition, in which Menon participated and emerged as the winner, introduced her to Kannada film director K. V. Jayaram, who cast her in his film Rashmi in 1994. Subsequently, she got several offers to act and became a "full-time actress", by enacting the female lead role character in the 1999 film Prema Prema Prema, when she was merely 13 years old. Later, at the age of 15, she entered the Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil film industries as well, by acting in the films Bhadrachalam, Uthaman and Samuthiram respectively.

Her debut film in Tamil is Samuthiram with actor Murali and Sarathkumar. She went on to act in Bharathiraja's Kadal Pookkal (2002), Trinetram (2002), Khushi (2003) and got the female lead role in the 2006 Malayalam film Pulijanmam, which was awarded the National Film Award for Best Film in 2007. Menon, then moved to "small screen", hosting TV shows and acting in serials, which include "Sriman Srimathi" and "Stree Hrudayam", before accepting film offers again.

Currently, she is acting in the Malayalam films, Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu, Rahasya Police, and the Tamil film Eeram, produced by popular Tamil director S. Shankar.
