Gehlot nailed down his budget speech at the finance department officials meeting on Monday. It has also been announced by finance minister that the main aim of the state government is providing drinking water with schemes related to PWD, water resources and irrigation department. It also aimed at the power production and projects for power department.
The Rajasthan budget 2010 included more finances and power for panchayati raj department for rural sector development. It also generated schemes for the welfare of agriculture sector.
The budget also aimed at subsidised tariff for pulses. Women-oriented plans have also been enforced in the budget.Before presenting the budget, Gehlot had meetings with several departments and sectors which include agriculture and industry.
