Two weeks back Actor-Producer K. Balaji was admitted in Apolo Hospital in chennai due to Kidney problem.
On May 2nd around 4.30 pm he passed away in hospital. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is his son-in-law. He started his career with Avvayaar in 1951 playing the role of Lord Subramaniam
And in 1996 he started Sujatha Cine Atrs and produced many blockbusters like Thee, Viduthalai, En Thambi, Neeethi, Savaal, Deepam, Vazhve Mayam, Billa and many more.
