This film is expected to be released worldwide in July 2009 with 3,500 prints. It is expected to be released in eighteen different languages, including English, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The film stars an animated version of Rajinikanth in the lead role, which will also be voiced by him. Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan (lead actress in Chennai 600028 & Anjathey) will render her voice as the female lead of the film. It will be produced and directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of Rajinikanth.
